IRRV – Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation
The Institute is the UK professional body for staff working in the fields of revenues, benefits and rating valuation.
The federation is the UK’s leading business organisation offering support and advice to small businesses and firms. They promote their members, look after their interests and offer professional business services to aid their members.
Valuation Office Agency (VOA)
The Valuation Office Agency provide the Government with the valuations and property advice required to support taxation and benefits. They also deliver a range of statutory and non-statutory valuation and surveying services to over 4,000 public sector bodies.

The Valuation Tribunal is an independent appeals tribunal, funded by Parliament to handle council tax and rating appeals in England. It provides a free service and local hearings, and the members who hear appeals are volunteers.

The service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.

The Rating Surveyors’ Association is a professional organisation representing the interests of experienced Chartered Surveyors who specialise in the field of business rates and can demonstrate that they comply with the highest of professional standards.
